Migdra "Sue" Robinson has been painting since 1990 when the last of her children married and left home. Oil is her medium of choice, she enjoys their richness and fullness, and the way they lend themselves to the landscape, which is her passion.
Sue has attended workshops with nationally known artists including a plein air workshop with Thomas Kinkade in 2001. She has won Best of Show, Best of Watercolor, and Best of Acrylic at the fair in Kings County, California. She is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the California Art Club and several local art associations in Morro Bay and the Central Valley as well. Sue is a signature member of the Alliance of California Artists where she has won top awards. Sue coordinated six art shows a year at the City Council Chambers in Lemoore, and received a plaque from the city in appreciation for her work.
Sue has shown at the Gallery at Marina Square at the Embarcadero in Morro Bay for the past three years. She resides both in Lemoore and Morro Bay, California, with her husband, Tim, who supports and encourages her.
Sue's paintings can be seen at the Gallery at Marina Square at the Embarcadero in Morro Bay.
